4. FIRST AID MEASURES

General: In case of serious personal contamination always seek medical help immediately.
Inhalation: If large concentrations of spray mist are inhaled remove to fresh air and keep warm. If symptoms persist seek medical advice.
Skin Contact: May cause irritation. If symptoms persist seek medical advice. Remove contaminated clothing. Wash immediately with soap and rinse with plenty of water.
Eye Contact: Irrigate immediately with copious amounts clean water for 15 minutes minimum. Seek medical attention if redness or irritation persists.
Ingestion: May cause systemic damage and gastro-intestinal irritation. Do not induce vomiting. Give copious amounts of water to drink. If vomiting occurs place patient in the recovery position. Seek medical attention without delay.
Medical Information: For specialist advice doctors should contact the nearest Poisons Information Centre.

5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES

All extinguishing agents can be used. Water as a fine mist.
Does not present any particular burn risk in the event of a fire. Sulphur dioxide fumes will be involved.
Protective clothing, boots, glasses and gloves should be worn. Fire fighters should use breathing apparatus.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Personal: Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Environment: Do not discharge into drains or rivers.
Spillage: Absorb and contain spillage with sand or earth. Place waste in sealed containers. Contact local authority for controlled waste disposal. Notify water authority if needed.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE

7.1 Handling: Wear full overall protective clothing, PVC or rubber gloves
and boots. If exposed to high vapour concentration in a confined area, wear
self contained breathing apparatus. In well ventilated areas, wear a fume
mask.
7.2 Storage: Keep sealed in original container. Store in frost free conditions above 5 C. Store away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs.
