3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

Human: may be mildly irritating to skin and eyes. Harmful if swallowed.
Environment: very toxic to aquatic organisms, my cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES

General: In case of serious personal contamination always seek medical help immediately.
Inhalation: Remove from exposure and provide maximum ventilation.
Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Rinse with plenty of water.
Eye Contact: Irrigate immediately with copious amounts clean water for 15 minutes minimum. seek medical attention if redness or irritation persists.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth out with water. If swallowed drink plenty of milk or water and seek medical advice.
Medical Information: For specialist advice doctors should contact the nearest Poisons Information Centre.

5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES

All extinguishing agents can be used. Prevent entry of product or contaminated water in watercourses or drains.
If involved in a fire, fumes and vapour may be harmful.
Protective clothing, boots, glasses and gloves should be worn. Fire fighters should use breathing apparatus.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Personal: Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Environment: Do not discharge into drains or rivers.
Spillage: Absorb the product onto porous material. Recover the product by scraping with a spatula or a similar instrument. Wash floors with plenty of water. Dispose of through an authorised disposal contractor. Inform the proper authorities if gross contamination of water is threatened or occurs.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE

7.1 Handling: Handle and use in accordance with good occupational
hygiene and safety practice. Take all necessary measures to avoid accidental
discharge of products into drains and waterways due to the rupture of
containers or transfer systems.
7.2 Storage: Product must only be kept in the suppliers’ packaging. Keep tightly sealed in original containers. Store in frost free conditions away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs.

Do not allow direct spray from vehicles to fall within 6 metres of surface water.
