4. FIRST AID MEASURES

Product
Inhalation – Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. Perform artificial respiration if breathing has stopped. Keep infected person warm and at rest. Get prompt medical attention.
Ingestion – Rinse mouth thoroughly. Induce vomiting if large amounts are ingested. Get medical attention. NEVER MAKE AN UNCONCIOUS PERSON VOMIT OR DRINK FLUIDS.
Skin – Remove affected person from source of contamination. Wash skin with soap and water. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.
Eyes – promptly wash with plenty of water while lifting the eye lids. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

Extinguishing Media – this material is not flammable. Use extinguishing media appropriate to surrounding fire.
Hazardous Decomposition Product – Fire or high temperatures create: corrosive gases/vapours/fumes of hydrogen chloride.
Protective Measures in Fire: Self contained breathing apparatus and suitable protective clothing must be worn in fire conditions.

Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and safety goggles. Prevent contamination of soil and water. Prevent spilled product or wash water from spreading or entering into drains, ditches or rivers by using sand earth or appropriate barriers. Sweep up and reclaim or transfer to waste containers as appropriate, avoiding creation of excess dust.
