Course AimsRefresh delegates in the basic operation, legislation and safe practical use of telescopic handlers.
Training ObjectivesBy the end of the course delegates will have
- a basic understanding of the employees and employers duties under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, along with PUWER and LOLER, in relation to telescopic handlers.
- Identify the basic construction and main components of the telescopic handler and attachments.
- Understand principles of counter-balance, along with stability/instability and the rated capacity plate.
- Assess a load and safely operate a lift truck.
