Sulphate of Ammonia contains 21% N and 24% Sulphur [60% SO₃].

It used to be available only in a powder form [like brown sugar] but recently new production techniques have made it available in a granular form which can be spread to wide bout widths.

It is common to apply Sulphate of Ammonia in areas where sulphur deposition from the atmosphere has reduced and in light land areas.

Sulphate of Ammonia is used in Nitrogen-Sulphur fertilisers like Bunns 27+12S [30SO₃] which is made by a 50:50 mix of Granular Ammonium Nitrate and Granular Sulphate of Ammonia. We can make other 'NS' grades like Bunns 30N+6S, Bunns 25N+15S.
