Blended Fertilisers

The equifert™ product range is formulated for pastures & paddocks, for use by the horseowner, the small-holder and landscaper. It is particularly suited for fertilising grazing & hay pastures or amenity turf with an optimum balance of nutrients to ensure great grass growth.

All equifert™ products are packaged in convenient 25Kg bags and are either supplied on pallets with optional deliveryby self-unloading vehicle or collected by the bag from your local farm-supplies retailer.

The Two equifert™ Product Ranges

There are two equifert™ ranges to match the season

  • equifert™ Spring Range with higheramounts of nitrogen to encourage grass andplant growth.
  • equifert™ Autumn Range with reducednitrogen to aid pasture recovery.Controlling the pH level on grazing pasturesis very important.

All equifert™ products contain Calcium grits to ameliorate excessive acidity.

The Spring equifert™ Range

equifert™ SpringGraze for spring &summer application

A 10-15-15 mid-N PK fertiliser plus 5% Magnesium[MgO] and 10% Sulpur [SO3] with added Calcium grits to control pH. Applied in the spring before turnout, equifert™SpringGraze strengthens roots and encourages a thick growth of grass. SpringGraze can be applied little and often throughout the spring and early summer.

SpringGraze Recommended Application Rates

To encourage spring & summer grass growth applyevenly using two 25Kg bags per acre in March or April. Repeat at six-weekly intervals according to grazing requirements until July as long as rain is forecast .With added Magnesium & Sulphur, SpringGraze is also ideal for use as a general landscape fertiliser in the spring and early summer.

equifert™ HayMaker formulated for maximum hay yield

A 15-15-15 high-N PK Fertiliser formulated for maximum hay production with added Calcium grits to control pH. HayMaker's balanced and concentrated formulation will produce tall grass that is ideal for haymaking. HayMakercan also be used sparingly in the garden to fertilise lawns, shrubs and roses.

Haymaker Recommended Application Rates

Apply evenly using up to six 25kg bags per acre in March or April on hay pastures. Apply between two and four 25kg bags per acre inlandscape use, for a second hay cut. Do not apply morethan two 25kg bags per acre for grazing after a hay cut.

The Autumn equifert™ Range

equifert™ AutumnRecovery prepares grass for over-wintering.

A 5-15-15 low-N PK fertiliser ideal for fertilising grazing paddocks and amenity turf in the autumn and contains Calcium grits to control pH.

AutumnRecovery is designed for application in LateAugust or September.With limited Nitrogen, grass will not become too lush whilst AutumnRecovery contains 15% Phosphate to strengthen root systems and potash to keep the paddock healthy over the winter. It is particularly helpful in the recovery of over-grazed areas and helps newly reseeded areas become established.

AutumnRecovery Recommended Application Rates

To prepare grassland for over-wintering apply evenly using between two and four 25kg bags per acre in Late August or September.

Important Notes for all equifert™Products

  • To avoid grass scorch and over-application use a fertiliserspinner to apply the product.
  • Do not exceed recommended application rate.Keep fertiliser away from hedgerows and watercourses.
  • Do not allow horses or ponies to ingest product underany circumstances.
  • Rest grazing paddocks after fertiliser application until significant rainfall or watering-in.

Caution: Horses and Ponies prone to laminitis avoid lush pasture and may require restricted access to grazing.
