Kainsol® Potato Fertiliser Range

Our flagship Kainsol® Potato fertiliser range contains magnesium solely in the soluble sulphate-form Granular Kieserite.

Starting with Granular Kieserite, we then add other raw materials to the base, like Mon-Ammonium Phosphate, Triple Superphosphate and Muriate of Potash and Ammonium Nitrate to create a custom blend.

The Kainsol® Potato Range is our most expensive potato fertiliser range and is ideal for use where land is being rented or the Magnesium soil indexes are so low that readily-avaiable Mg is required.

Magsol® Potato Fertiliser Range

Our Magsol® Potato fertiliser range contains magnesium in the soluble sulphate-form from Granular Kieserite topped-up with magnesium from cheaper Calcined Magnesite.

Starting with a Granular Kieserite and Calcined Magnesite base, we then add other raw materials like Mon-Ammonium Phosphate, Triple Superphosphate and Muriate of Potash and Ammonium Nitrate.

The Magsol® Potato Range is an ideal compromise between our most expensive Kainsol® potato fertiliser range and the cheaper Oxide mixes and is ideal for use where fast-acting magnesium is required coupled with a cheaper magnesium that becomes available slowly over a rotation.

The beauty of the Magsol range is that it offers economy whilst still maintaining the substantial benefit of soluble Magnsesium and Sulphur from Granular Kieserite. Another benefit is that the magnesium is partly held in the Granular Kieserite form so that the 'spreadability' of the fertiliser is excellent with even the minor nutrients being spread to the full bout width.
