The Bunn Group was proud to host a dinner at Great Yarmouth's Imperial Hotel to celebrate nearly five hundred years of long service by employees to the company.

Eight Members of staff were recognised for service between 25 and 27 years and a further four members marked their retirements.  Chairman Michael Fuller also paid tribute to Directors John Tooley and Neville Hitcham with 60 years service each and to Bernard Thorpe with 69 years of continuous employment with Bunns.  In total 492 years of continuous service were marked by fifteen members of staff.

The Long term Service awards were made to

• David Teesdale, Forklift Loader, Great Yarmouth, 27 years
• Keith Spanton, Group Accountant, Finance Director Fertiiliser Solutions and Agritek Sales & Service, 27 years
• Peter Garrod, Group Chief Engineer, 27 years
• Stephen Connor, Finance Director Spandler Bros Ltd, 25 years
• Caron Bunnewell, Administration Support, 25 years
• Peter Moyse, Plant Manager, Great Yarmouth, 25 years
• John Coote, Engineer, Great Yarmouth, 25 years

Retirements were

• Roy Underdown, engineer, J & H Bunn Ltd, 11 years
• Robin Shepard, Operartions Manager, B & G Spreaders Ltd, 31 years
• Peter McKinna, senior driver, Spandler Bros Ltd, 39 years
