Bunns is celebrating the despatch of the millionth tonne of fertiliser from the Sharpness production facility since its opening in August 2000.

The new milestone eclipses the half-millionth tonne mark reached in February 2005.

Production manager David Moyse, who has worked for Bunns for 48 years says "We are delighted with this achievement and are proud to have delivered a million tonnes to farmers and growers in the South and South West of England in just eight years working closely with Victoria Ports and the whole team at Sharpness Dock."
