In the Yarmouth courts yesterday, Messrs J & H Bunn Ltd, merchants, claimed £86 from the owners of the Sieschwalbe for damage to oats caused by the un-seaworthy condition of the vessel. Defendants admitted their boat leaked. They were not aware it was contrary to Board of Trade regulations for grain cargoes to be carried in bulk with a moveable floor. All oats had since been sold.
