From the News archives of the Eastern Daily Press, 11th November 1899In the Yarmouth courts yesterday, Messrs J & H Bunn Ltd, merchants, claimed £86 from the owners of the Sieschwalbe for damage to oats caused by the un-seaworthy condition of the vessel. Defendants admitted their boat leaked. They were not aware it was contrary to Board of Trade regulations for grain cargoes to be carried in bulk with a moveable floor. All oats had since been sold.From the News archives of the Eastern Daily Press, 30th March 1901A meeting of Gentlemen interested in the trade of Yarmouth was held at the Star Hotel. Mr J T Bunn was unanimously elected chairman and moved a resolution "that it be desirable to form an association to be called the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce, to consist of persons or firms interested in the trade of Yarmouth"
